Robin McCune - Special Projects
Robin McCune joined the Board of NEPANS in November of 2014. The parent of a child with PANDAS who went undiagnosed for over three years, Robin is committed to assisting other parents and their children through sharing her own experiences, educating others and helping to raise funds for the organization. Robin spent almost twenty years working in the nonprofit sector, the last nine years in development and fundraising. She now runs a home-based bakery so she can be with her children.
Robin’s main focus is health and is involved in healthy eating initiatives. In addition to NEPANS, she currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Bedford Farmers’ Market. Her role on that board is to create cross-marketing opportunities with local nonprofits that focus on health, food and animals. She is also responsible for press releases and radio promotions for the market as well as involving the market-goers and their children in crafts.
Robin chaired 2014 New Hampshire NEPANS Conference. She, her husband and one other volunteer started a Facebook group for New Hampshire residents to offer support and advice for those dealing with PANDAS. Robin is also working on a book about their family’s journey into the world of PANDAS.
In her spare time, Robin enjoys gardening, running, baking, yoga and going to the beach. She is married with three children and two dogs.
