PANS PANDAS AWARENESS DAY

PANS PANDAS Awareness Day aims to create global awareness of this devastating disorder.

AWARENESS. UNDERSTANDING.
HOPE. HEALING. PROGRESS.

Every October 9th, the PANS/PANDAS Community joins together to spread awareness far and wide. Each year there is increased AWARENESS and UNDERSTANDING about PANS/PANDAS, which promotes more opportunities for HEALING our kids and provides HOPE for our families; we are making PROGRESS with research and treatment. Awareness happens one step at a time: one family at a time, one doctor at a time, one school nurse at a time, one teacher at time, one legislator at a time.

Our goal is for everyone to consider PANS/PANDAS if a child has acute onset of OCD and/or food restriction & concurrent multiple cognitive, behavioral, or neurological symptoms and if they have PANS/PANDAS for them to receive appropriate treatment.
